About Us

Kid Videos Inc. was begun for the simple reason that we love doing this!  We are two moms who love taking photographs, especially of our kids and their friends.  We love looking back on fun memories.  We even get a kick out of great pictures of people we don’t even know!  We’re just funny that way.

Laura Sherman is an architect who has created movies and slide shows for a few years now for her daughters’ classrooms, just for fun.  The parents’ response is usually something like, “This is great!  You should start a business doing this!”  So she did, with the help of her friend and business partner Karen Pickett.  Karen has two girls as well, and brings a background in advertising and many years of photography and scrapbooking to the mix.  We are very involved in our children’s schools and extracurricular activities, and launched Kid Videos Inc. for those of you who, like us, love to preserve those memories.

A note on privacy concerns: the privacy of your photographs is of utmost concern to us.  Our business model is built on a foundation of protecting the safety of everyone’s children. To this end, our website works one way; photographs can be uploaded, but viewing or downloading is not possible.  And of course, DVDs will only be sold to your classroom or organization.
